Everis Aesthetic Medicine is committed to making everisaesthetic.com usable by everyone, including people who browse with screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology.

Our Standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines are the reference standard used by the U.S. Department of Justice in Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) matters, and they describe how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Conformance Status

everisaesthetic.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means most of the site meets the standard, and we are actively working on the areas that do not yet.

We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time project. This statement is reviewed whenever we make significant changes to the site.

Measures We Take

To keep this site accessible, we:

  • Build pages with semantic HTML, a single main heading per page, and a logical heading order
  • Provide text alternatives for images that convey information
  • Label every form field and associate it with its input
  • Maintain a visible keyboard focus indicator throughout the site
  • Provide a "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page
  • Ensure navigation menus, dialogs, and carousels can be operated by keyboard alone
  • Respect the operating system's "reduce motion" preference
  • Provide a control to stop any automatically moving content
  • Test text and background colors against WCAG AA contrast ratios
  • Size interactive controls to a minimum 44 by 44 pixel touch target

Accessibility Widget

This site includes the UserWay accessibility widget, available from the icon in the lower corner of every page. It offers on-demand adjustments such as larger text, increased contrast, a readable font, link highlighting, and reduced motion.

We want to be clear about what this tool is and is not. The widget is a convenience layer, not a substitute for an accessible website. Assistive-technology tools of this kind cannot detect or repair every accessibility barrier, and we do not rely on it to meet our obligations. The underlying accessibility of this site is maintained in the site's own code, and that is where we do the substantive work.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. We are aware of the following, and we are working to address them:

  • Third-party components. Some features are provided by outside vendors whose code we do not control, including the Cherry payment-estimator widget, our online booking system, and our spam-protection challenge. Their accessibility is determined by those providers. If one of these blocks you, please contact us and we will help you complete the task directly.
  • External links. Links to third-party sites, such as our online store and gift card partner, lead to websites whose accessibility we cannot guarantee.
  • Older content. Some documents or images published earlier may not yet meet our current standard.
